Section 2 Game 4

Brent,

In your diagram video of Game 4 after drawing the first sub-diagram with F in and H out you state: "All other options will have to have N in, and therefore T out."

The stimulus states that N and T are not both selected. This implies the following:

If N in then T out
If T in then N out
AND
Both T and N out.

Therefore, there is a third final option of BOTH T and N out.

Is this simply something they would test me on? If there is the possibility it seems to make the diagramming very difficult (i.e. I have to come up with even more diagrams in addition to the 6 already made). Do you have any advice?

Brent,

Never mind, I just attempted to diagram N and T both in, and I realize that by placing N out the other two out spots are filled up by K and H necessarily, thus leaving no space for both T and N to both be out.

This forum is quite confounding...

Anyways, the issue raised in the first post above I think is still important because one could have approached the diagram from the FH pair which would seem to give rise to problems particularly because my diagram, similar to Brent's, does not seem to clearly show the possibility that BOTH FH might be out.

Any thoughts Brent?
